A Trip to the Zoo

So about three weeks ago we left on a Sunday afternoon and drove down to Brownsville to the Gladys Porter Zoo. The day was kind of overcast and a bit drizzly here and there, but it was a nice day to be out because it wasn't hot!

Zachary liked the peacocks and wanted some pictures, so we got a couple:


After the zoo, we drove over to the island and had supper at Blackbeards. Zachary not only ate all of his meal, but he then proceeded to eat an entire brownie sundae, which was brought to him amongst covetous eyes all around us! :-) People wishing they could eat like a teenage boy and not gain 10 pounds!


Yep - it was a good day.
